Well, we are still being snowed in. I am catching up on Youtube art journaling videos so thought I should list them here:
Journal Artista
Limor Webber
Andrea Walford
Effy Wild Wildly Inspired
Andrea Gomolli
I also began two annual challenges:
Documented Life Project
Life Book 2015
As soon as I recover from this miserable cold I have lots of inspiration to keep me going for a while!
I review books and share information on Zentangle tangles as well as other crafts.

New supplies!
I am inspired by my new art supplies - yesterday received my box of Faber Castell Big Brush pens! The colors are just lovely. I am still working on my 30 Days with my Journal class with Julie Fei-Fan Balzer so may just have to sneak them into that. I also have a new box of blank tags to play with. My other new supply is a set of Industrial Chic Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.
It is good that I ordered these because we are once again having a "long duration snow event" - don't you just love that phrase? lol Between new supplies and watching art journal videos on Youtube I am keeping myself entertained.

Obsessing about Disney World
I have mostly been working on prayer shawls since the weather got cooler. I will try to remember to take a photo of them. But mostly I am obsessing about our upcoming trip to Disney World. I am reading Mousejunkies and the Unofficial Guide in tandem, and intend to find my copy of Hidden Secrets of Disney World soon.
Mark and Joshua are mostly interested in seeing Aaron again, and are not so much into the Disney World part. I have warned them that I intend to eat my way around the World Showcase - we are going during the International Food and Drink Festival. And I think planning our visit is part of the fun! It will also be great to see Aaron again - we haven't seen him since February and Ace hasn't seen him since two years ago now.

My first designer challenge
Well, I have just created my first design challenge and I am quite humbled. It made me appreciate all the talent out there in digiland. And the preview - how do they do it? I did not include all my elements or papers and mine still looks so crowded. I enjoyed the challenge and I loved making all the different papers. I have no idea of how to arrange to have anyone download it, but here is the preview anyway:
Some of the elements are resized (the brads are much smaller and the lavender ribbon much larger) but it is done, And "done is better than perfect!"
If you want to see some of the beautiful kits that were done for the challenge, the forum is here at Pixelscrapper.

Latest crafting
Finished a prayer shawl yesterday - ready to take to Women's Bible Study on Thursday. Taking a small break before beginning the next one, although I have gotten the yarn ready to go.
On another creative front, my new stencils have arrived! I am eager to get into my art journal and start playing with them - perhaps I will have time to get messy tomorrow.

Ravellenics 2012 Update
I went to the kickoff event over at the Woolpack store in Acton last Friday, so I am now officially part of their team doing my Hexagon Gone Wrong pattern for the Event Modular. It was a great evening and I am looking forward to going back.
My biggest problem right now is wanting to jump right in and start crocheting! I want to complete my new crochet hook bag before Friday so that is one short term goal. I am working on the hook strip and trying to decide if I will just stick with a large mesh pocket for other items or add a separate pocket. Ah, the joys of designing as you go.
I also just started a circular lace pattern to have something "new" to work on. No idea of what that will be but I am hoping it will work out to be a circular scarf.
My stash is getting wound thanks to my lovely new Amish Wood yarn swift. It is also getting organized at the same time, at least the part downstairs, so I will be able to shop my stash soon.
Okay, my current project list should be:
Hexagon Gone Wrong, 5, event modular relay, Team Woolpack
V-stitch Dishcloth, event one skein, Team Boston (Wicked Pissahs)
Frog Pink Scarf, event frogging trampoline, Team Wellesley, if I can find it to frog it
EEK - I need one for Team Crochet! Perhaps an excuse to do a Mile a Minute strip bag? Must go check the stash!
